Daily Website Archiving

We’re pleased to announce that our File and Document Archiving has now moved out of Beta and is available to all subscribers.

It is similar in concept to our standard Website Archiving, in that it is an outsourced managed service. Just tell us what you want archiving and we’ll do the rest.

The captured files are available to view via our web interface, in addition to being stored in multiple secure locations for compliance purposes.

As you can see we can capture a number of different file / content types:

By choosing an individual archive, you can view the downloaded archives.

As with our standard website archiving, a changed indicator notes a difference found in the file hash.

Clicking on the icon at the end of the row will allow you to download the version of the file.

Our new screenshot compare tool has just been released. It allows you to view two screenshot archives and then fade them in / out using the slider making spotting differences in the pages easy.

In this first view, with the slider at the top set to 25% we see more of the first captured screenshot.

If we move the slider at the top over to 75% we see more of the second captured screenshot.

Accessing the compare screenshot tool is done by clicking on the ‘Changed’ icon as below.

In addition to the existing previous and next buttons, we’ve added a new calendar widget:

Clicking on the widget allows you to then easily select the day you wish to view.
