The files are written to a WORM-equivalent Archive engine database – data can be stored but not amended or deleted. The data centre operates to the strictest operational standards to ensure the security of data and has SAS70 Type II certification. This satisfies strict US standards in data security requirements for storage infrastructure as per SEC 17a-4 and NASD 3010/3110.
All data is replicated to an off-site data centre in real time and once a day the databases are zipped up and written to hard media storage. Customers request hard media copies for secondary storage in their own Escrow facilities.
